About the Event:

Mark Yamauchi from Toyota will be discussing Toyota's renewable energy goals and sustainability initiatives as a result of COVID-19. 

In his capacity as Sustainability Manager at Toyota, Mark leads the efforts to incorporate sustainability into all aspects of the enterprise including those of the built environment and heads up strategic initiatives that focus on sustainability and operational efficiencies.

Most notably, he has led the efforts to integrate sustainability in the design and development of Toyota’s new North American Headquarters in Plano, Texas which has achieved LEED Platinum certification. With more than 25 years of experience in real estate and facilities and a LEED Accredited Professional since 2002, Mark has provided advice on sustainability to numerous organizations including non-profits, major corporations, and governments on the municipal, national, and international level.
